RACING will take place at Uttoxeter on Saturday after the course was deemed fit for racing following an inspection.
Clerk of the course Charlie Moore was due to check conditions at 8am, but took an earlier look and gave the seven-race card, which is due to start at 1.05, the go-ahead.
“I’ve been all the way round and was able to bring the inspection forward because it’s not that cold,” said Moore.
The going is described as heavy and Moore added: “It’ll be testing thanks to yesterday’s downpour, but we may get some sun later.”
